The Port Collar product line provides a means of selective annular displacement, stimulation, or remediation. These full-bore, mechanically actuated tools are available in a variety of configurations including an industry-exclusive, gas-tight, metal-to-metal design that can be utilized for planned or contingency stage cementing operations in critical wells without compromising casing integrity. There are two distinct styles: rotate motion with elastomeric seals; and linear motion with metal-to-metal seals or elastomeric seals.
The Pump Out Stage Cementing Collar (SCC) is a cementing sleeve that provides a selective communication path inside the casing to the annulus without requiring any drill out of opening/closing plugs or seats after cementing operations are complete. The Pump Out SCC contains an inner sleeve that is actuated via hydraulic pressure applied to the casing string. Once the sleeve shifts into the open position, the flow ports are exposed, and cement is pumped into the annulus as per normal stage cementing operations. Once the cement is pumped away, a closing plug is launched and lands in The Pump Out SCC, and additional pressure is applied closing the ports/sleeve permanently. Increasing pressure further shears the internal components out of The Pump Out SCC allowing them to fall to the bottom of the casing string without the need to drill out.
