Pump Out Stage Cementing Collar (SCC)
TAM’s EPIC® (Essential Products for Integrity and Containment) solutions provide packer and stage cementing systems for life-of-well cement integrity.
The Port Collar product line provides a means of selective annular displacement, stimulation, or remediation. These full-bore, mechanically actuated tools are available in a variety of configurations including an industry-exclusive, gas-tight, metal-to-metal design that can be utilized for planned or contingency stage cementing operations in critical wells without compromising casing integrity. There are two distinct styles: rotate motion with elastomeric seals; and linear motion with metal-to-metal seals or elastomeric seals.
The Pump Out Stage Cementing Collar (SCC) is a cementing sleeve that provides a selective communication path inside the casing to the annulus without requiring any drill out of opening/closing plugs or seats after cementing operations are complete. The Pump Out SCC contains an inner sleeve that is actuated via hydraulic pressure applied to the casing string. Once the sleeve shifts into the open position, the flow ports are exposed, and cement is pumped into the annulus as per normal stage cementing operations. Once the cement is pumped away, a closing plug is launched and lands in The Pump Out SCC, and additional pressure is applied closing the ports/sleeve permanently. Increasing pressure further shears the internal components out of The Pump Out SCC allowing them to fall to the bottom of the casing string without the need to drill out.

FREECAP® is a line of specifically engineered packers that swell upon contact with wellbore fluids. A variety of elastomers are available that will expand in water-based fluids or oil-based fluids. FREECAP are highly reliable, have no moving parts, and require no inflation or manipulation to seal, removing the inherent risks of mechanical tools.

The SlikPak™ Plus is a battery-powered assembly that can be used to run inflatable bridge plugs or packers on slickline or electric line. The necessary inflation fluid can be obtained from the wellbore or carried on adaptable fluid chambers. The electronic cartridge is preprogrammed at the surface to ensure the inflation process starts once the packer reaches setting depth. The SlikPak Plus system also contains a mechanically activated intensifier, which can be utilized for the inflation process as a backup to the electric/hydraulic components.
